Hi,

I can understand hardship you faced to exercise most basic right of citizen in democracy but probably it was bit of impatience on your part.

1.Finding your name on voting list is the task you need to finish before election day. I agree our system has flows. But there are over 1 billion souls in India and country is not rich enough to employ technology everywhere to help everyone out. They are doing to some extent by providing voting lists online. It happens.

2. About 49-O, This is one of the thing which has not been used by indian voters in history of free india (not by mass atleast). When people like us call for it, then surely section 49-O will be at-least noticed.

3. Polling officers are on enforced election duty with a meager allowance. Don't expect them to be polite. Nobody would willingly work on such a large scale on sundays.

4. We are part of Indian system, and by blaming it for your difficulties, you are parting from it. And most of our youth has done this already! Then how can we expect system to improve?

Don't wish to hurt you but these are my thoughts on ground reality in India.

Best regards,

Vivek Jadye.
